Giampaolo Ghisetti, born in Venice in 1944, is a self-taught artist. He begins to paint in the mid-1950s and moves to Murano in the 60s to work with glass. His artistic talent is rewarded in 1970 by a Gold Medal from the S.Andrea Academy in Rome. He is a recognized painter and decorative artist with several of his works in private collections all-over the world.
